Now, I'm not saying that you can't critique the twilight saga. And I'm not saying that you can't say that you personally think it's childish, non-intellectual, etc. That's part of the territory of making it public, people read it and react to it. And not always favorably. But given some of the unrestrained attacks and ill-thought words regarding her work, it shouldn't come as a surprise if she's a little sensitive about all this.
Personally, I hope that she does rally and continues to work on Midnight Sun, despite this ill-timed leak. I also hope that whoever leaked Midnight Sun will make amends for the emotional pain inflicted, (bastard). A public lynching might suffice, j/k.
On another note I would just like to add that I really enjoyed Breaking Dawn. It wasn't what I expected - but I loved it none-the-less. Yes, Renesseme was a shock, and at first I wondered, Oh God, what the hell are you thinking? But, it grew on me. It helped that Jacob took over the narration for a little bit. But the birthing scene. That was powerful and it was perfect. Breaking Dawn was not a bad book. It was a very good book, for one (but not the only) very important reason: It ended exactly the way it was supposed to. The way that Stephanie Meyer wanted. Not the way of popular vote.

much appreciated

You fracture me... Your hands on me...
A touch so plain... So stale...
...it kills...
